#cinematic #baroque #strings #instrumental #minimalism #joyful #ebullient This is the second movement of a string quartet called "Parallel Lives." The original "Parallel Lives" is a collection of biographies by Plutarch. The main inspirations for this movement were a madrigal by the Italian Baroque composer, Monteverdi, and the ciaconna form popular in the Renaissance and Baroque era.
