American Dream

Lyrics
I can't keep living the American Dream I see it on TV and in magazines Everytime I go to bed I live the American Dream again.
Hopes and dreams sold for a dollar, giving tips to one another, desperate times call for desperate needs and desperate me calls for desperate sleep.
Sold my soul to Motorola Sell my limbs to Coca-Cola Sell my organs to Crayola Sell whats left to Canola
I can't keep living the American Dream I see it on TV and in magazines Everytime I go to bed I live the American Dream again.
Comments
I definitely feel many people like me are thinking more about America than their own country at this point. And all of that is cleverly understated by a catchy instrumental.
This is catchy and great lyrics. This is an earworm. I'm playing it again and singing along to it <3
The dream is a nightmare over here right now, Roxanne.
