tragedy + time = hey, I'm still here! #alternatetuning #sadbastardmusic
Lyrics
Two faces It was always two faces
You thought I’d hang around Front row seats, watch me drown No Artemis to help you down No safety net, I’m out
Gemini, Janus, justifying Jump scare, planned this, mortifying
Two faces It was always two faces
What we always said Just fell out of your head It was fantasy that bled Broke me, frayed the thread
Distance between who you think you are And how you behave is so fuckin far Tragedy, comedy, it’s just a mask Maybe with time I’ll learn to laugh

omg these VERSE CHORDS penetrate my very soul it's giving the 10 of swords.... tragic yes, but with enough Gemini humor to end with at least wink, if not an outright giggle
Your harmonies always get me, girl. "Distance between who you think you are / And how you behave is so fuckin far" is an amazing line.
Such a beautiful song. I love the subtle piano in the background
But how do I sit down... more?
You cut… your face… off
Such a great song! The guitar part is super evocative and really “turns the beat around” (if you will). Combined with those lyrics it’s quite gruesome twosome! Love the line “what we always said, just fell out of your head”.
You know what, I will. I do love to hear percussion…
“ Distance between who you think you are And how you behave is so fuckin far” nooo don’t put words to that feeling nooooooo (I mean this as a compliment this hit me in the gut)
Mahhhh badddd

Oh, that was beautiful. Your voice is very soothing and fits perfectly this type of music. Song itself was very melancholic, just like the lyrics. Chord progression was lovely and your vocals long notes dancing around it is just so cool.
The intro got me thinking of Led Zeppelin. I like where you took the melody and the jangly guitar sits wonderfully at the foundation of the mix. Some pleasing wandering harmonies in there too. I like the Greek/Roman god references too... and the Gemini two-face metaphor
