So, I think I've found a theme - I've been re-reading Kafka's the castle and I feel the 2 songs before this captured a feeling of stranger in a strange place, unknowing things, blurring lines between reality and so this FAWM album stalled called The Castle and this is the tone from here on out.

Anyway - song 3 - more in the box fun here as FAWM demands discipline and this is how I work the fastest. Started with the vocal sample that comes in midway through - time stretched with shimmering reverb, an almost dembow beat that's a total accident, some Kontakt Cello and Violin, some filtered white noise and that's about it! I'm quite pleased with this one.

The spectrum is shining bright in this song. Evocative, moody, dark, exciting. The vocal line is haunting. This is like a disorienting run through a fun house. I love working in the box. You can get creative very quickly.
