Just Gettin' Old

Lyrics
It feels real good to be outside I don't mind the cold Ya know, I wouldn't mind the aging either If it weren't for the getting old
The getting old Is getting old It's just getting old
Like the rings of a tree, my glasses are thicker My silver hair once was gold These and those and other changes It ain't nothin', just getting old
The getting old Is getting old It's just getting old
There's an art to staying young at heart With the flip of a switch it'll stop on a dime Some have diseases, others have it easy And no one stops the passage of time
Getting old ain't for sissies That's what my mom and papa told I know I wouldn't mind the aging If it weren't for the getting old
The getting old Is getting old It's just getting old It's just getting old

Love it! Right there with ya, Don't mind the aging if weren't for feeling old!
@odetocollaboration Gets a little more relatable every day.
I can physically feel this lyric. Not that old yet but yeah. Funny how as you get older all the stuff breaks down easier and takes longer to get back to where it should be. So true that no one stops the passage of time.
Catchy chorus especially. Great song!
