Science Spat on Love

by @missofija

Liner Notes

#folk #oddtimesignature #haiku based on two haikus this time:

ravenous giant greasy shiny leaves sour next science spat on love

children dance no more they have no world to explore too small to fix it

Lyrics

ravenous machines Suppression wasn’t enough Devouring anything that breathes Iron doesn’t bluff

and the children dance no more

Ivy won’t take over The forest will not prevail We lost the battle and the war It’s over, we’ve failed

they have no world to explore

Anguish piles up We’ve lost help from above No deus ex machina Science spat on love

they’re too small to restore it

A fascinating, sad song, beautifully sung.

So cool, I love these two haikus and your interpretation of them, science spat on love is such a powerful line and I can see making a song out of it. I really like that last part the anguish piles up and everything after. Great guitar playing too.
