Christmas is the Season

Liner Notes
I improvised this snippet this morning as a center theme for a joyful Christmas carol. My original aim was to deconstruct it into the spooky https://fawm.org/songs/318490 - which I did.
However, I think it would also stand nicely as a song on its own. Maybe built up into a warm and glittering strings arragement à la Home Alone?

This is cool that you shared!
So my first thought, as a onetime a cappella singer, is that the octave and fifth jumps in this melody would put it beyond the typical group of unison carolers. But it does give an idea for a how a four-part caroling arrangement might slot in. It might be a fun challenge to try to get the essence of that very wide-ranging melody with a choral ensemble.
