@ouorri

just now making time for my FAWM watchlist and leaving my first track comment ´^w^`;

this is a hell of the fun one ! ! you have put the acid where the acid goes in and the fAT pUNCHY drums where the those go ! ! but ALso that Twacky Timbre that might actually be made out of plastic??? with its chordy resonances. that's a good one for the earfeels. it's cool how you do all the stuff that you do, you know what stuff you do, you know I know that stuff, like holy hell you keep doing all that stuff you do, and also there's this stuff you've did with your Making This a Real Dynamic Listening Experience for your listener ! ! we love to see it here in FAWMtown MO

@vekon

thanks <3

How've you made 20/8 so danceable? Like something of DrukQs (without sounding anything like Aphex Twin). So good.

@vekon

thanks! the comparison to drukQs is much appreciated <3

i mostly write my odd meter rhythms by ear - SunVox's cyclic shift tool helps too, to shift drum hits around. i've written in a ton of meters so it's all natural to me

big respect for using sunvox thats wild

@vekon

tysm! so nice to see you here!

@sci

woagh. i am so happy that we're in the era of microtonal music that also has delightful sound design and electric energy. this kicks ass and the odd time and and tones serve it well

@vekon

thanks! i enjoy xen in that context

I love whatever that rattle is (I know, it's not a rattle) but man it's fun. (Fun fact, I was in a band called Rattlecan a long time ago.) This is super cool. Very, very active without being cluttered or overwhelming. Cool start!

@vekon

thanks!

I really dig the energy and the layers of interest. It's frenetic without making me anxious, which is something. I get a strong visual image of an android being held underwater and short-circuiting, but in an endearing cartoonish sort of way, played for comic relief.

It also felt very cohesive to me - whichever constraints you were experimenting with, you've worked them in beautifully.

@vekon

cool interpretation! i don't think i had any constraints, asides from the few limitations of SunVox and my chosen meter and tuning.

thanks!

This is rad as Hell

@vekon

thanks!

I like the play within the time signature a lot; didn't feel like a forced asymmetry. Lots of ear candy in there. I really dig it. First song I heard this year; it's a great start for my FAWM. Thank you!

@vekon

tysm! nice to hear you liked it, here's to a great FAWM!

Reminds me of Darude Sandstorm in the best way! How cool!

@vekon

i guess it's the acid synth? :)

thanks!

This makes me want to learn coding and hack something. In a good way 😂. Cool stuff. Have a great FAWM!

[pic]
@vekon

thanks! you too!

I just played this track to wake up my kids-and it worked! Curb that perfectionism, I can relate and FAWM is so good for recalibrating our brains to flow in a more amusing direction.

[pic]
@vekon

yeah, i'm sure FAWM will get me used to not obsessing over tracks so much. thanks!

Very cool drum manipulation and that bass is making my head bob dangerously I spilled my coffee and my dog looks disappointed…oooo that glitched stereo breakup fill..real quick but I loved it. Solid fx big atmosphere tons of fun. Dark and enjoyable

[pic]
@vekon

thanks! i always love adding those glitches

[pic]

This a very good time - love the acid elements and could truly see this in an early Darren Aronofsky film

@vekon

thanks!
