Find Me

Liner Notes

This is just a voice memo, I'm hoping to find time to do some proper recording if I can.

Lyrics

Please find me Don't be long Please find me Something's wrong

You've gotten older No one to show you How to get that feeling

I thought I saw you Just out of focus I was only sleeping

Please find me Don't be long Please find me Something's wrong

I wasn't ready yesterday And might not be now It's getting darker That's ok You're not wrong

You've gotten older No one to show you How to get that feeling

If I recover I want another promise I'll be keeping

Please find me Don't be long Please find me Something's wrong

Please find me Don't be long

Beautiful. There's a whole story and a prayer inside this.

Regardless of being a voice memo, the class of both your writing and performance shines through. Doesn’t need the bells and whistles or any high production values. It’s superb as it is.

The juxtaposed lyric cadence between the verse and chorus works really well. The hook is instantly catchy. Man, it's nice to hear your songs again. The voice memo demo is just right.

Very cool guitar. Your melody is very well done. Calm vibe with strong rhythm is really compelling. Nicely sung too. Great job.

I really love the melody and the mood you’ve created here. I also love that I don’t quite know what you mean by the lyrics, but somehow know exactly what you mean at the same time. Ya know? Cool guitar fills between phrases as well. Yeah 👍

This doesn't even need a better recording. It's so raw and real and captures the feel perfectly. Love hearing the foot stomp in the background.

A song primed for some lovely harmonies. Your guitar work is wonderful.
