Care Of Floribama

Lyrics
Send me a valentine, When you tell me I'm lost, And I don't know what I'm talking about, Call me a taxi, When I'm drunk and I'm trying to fight, For a cause you never heard about, Tow off my car, Throw me out of the bar, If its too late to escape, Without a scrape on my face,
But if you ever need me I'll be with my family, In care of Floribama, If you ever need I'll be back by my family, In care of Floribama,
I know I'm trouble But I'm grown and I'm known, To be consistent as they come, Don't wanna miss out, On the chance to be around, When deals go south and fists get thrown, If you're down at the docks, Or out on the rocks, I'll be your friend at the end, indeed.
If you need to find me, I'll be here with my family, In care of Floribama, (Care of Floribama) If you need to find me, I'll be here with my family, In care of Floribama, (Care Of Floribama)
I skated by on reputation alone, And it's been years and years since I roamed...

Good to see you here, TrashDaisy! Looking forward to working with ALW!
Love this melody so much. You’re so good at putting the listener in a particular place both lyrically and musically. Nice kickoff song brotha!
Love the harmonies on this. I also love towns that combine state names. I'm also intrigued by what sounds like a penny inside a jar as the percussion. Cool tune
I was thrown out of the Flora-Bama back in the 60s! Well not really but it would be a good story. Nice tune!
A great song to add to the summer playlist. The use of percussion is unusual and occasionally puts me off balance but I do love it
Tremendous chill.
Care of Floribama sings so well - almost sounds like a rare southern flower
