#skirmish #acoustic I started this one by writing a haiku to get the ball rolling and ended up liking it enough to just make it the chorus:

I’ve had a breakthrough it’s time to let go of you for good not for now

Verse I: you never stop to wonder you don’t stop for a dream what’s pulling her under what’s tearing her seams

verse II: I can’t help but cry out it’s impossible to find what’s this bitter love about why do we chase this high

chorus: I’ve had a breakthrough it’s time to let go of you for good not for now for good not for now

verse III: we were designed to fall, fall through the sky and beyond sometimes someone needs more than your all sometimes it’s time to get gone

bridge: so i wrote you a letter and i sent it while boarding a flight To say you don’t know me and didn’t really know her Turns out i was winning a losing fight but it’s not about me though it kind of should to be but you wouldn’t know and i didn’t tell you my flaws then weren’t by design but for what it’s worth i’m sorry for what i said when i was dying
