Opening melody is absolutely gorgeous! Legit one of the most beautiful ones out there. Listening a bit further, this really sounds like there is someone this is written about. I mean these melodies really has that sort of longing-vibe. Overall, amazing song, and making me a new fan for this genre (step from funeral doom to slow dsbm is apparently quite small).

Sometimes I forget that I can slow riffs down, and this is the very best reminder of why that works. This opening is so cold and grim... I'm imagining Darkthrone covering a Joy Division song. I love the light and dark in it.
