[they/them II nonbinary]

hello lovely people! this is the first FAWM i've done in a few years. i went through a dark period with personal life issues and i am finally feeling back in touch with my creative side. as always, i would love to collab as much as possible!

the personal side

a few weeks ago, i spent 6 days in the hospital facing potentially life threatening issues (doing better now). my various illnesses and physical pain have become severely disabling recently; sometimes it is hard to think about anything else, so i will likely be writing about that a lot. i'm hopeful that songwriting will help me process things as i try to find happiness in a life filled with off the charts pain that can sometimes leave me unable to do anything besides lay in bed.

the music side

i always love collaborating with my fellow FAWMers. don't hesitate to reach out if you wanna do something. because of my disabilities it's harder for me to physically make music now (i have a keyboard but can't always play). but i can still write and sing. 😊

historically, i've done singer-songwriter & folk-pop type stuff. it's my home base. however, what i actually listen to is almost always some form of alt rock. i would really love to expand this year and do more with that. maybe even some punk music!

i've developed my deeper register, something i've avoided since i was young since i thought female voices had to be higher to be "pretty". i'm over that, especially since embracing my nonbinary identity, and i hope this year to do some songs that let me explore that register as it's very comfortable to sing in.
