Still thinking on a theme for the September 2026 Song Sprint. I might finish the list from July.

For the inaugural 5/9 I tried something a bit different. I had ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude examine and critique my previously written lyrics. After giving them a list of song titles to ask for in sequence, they began to hallucinate song titles that I had not written. I figured I may as well give them a try. I'll probably pick from this list of titles.

My main songwriting focus was in the early to mid 70s, when I wrote about 50 songs in the years 1971-1976, then nothing until 2001, and in the years since 2001 until 2014, had written only three or four songs. However, I did rework and write an entire #rockopera in 2001. I've been busier in the last few years, so my total song credits are now over 280.

I completed FAWM in 2014, 2022, 2023, 2025 & 2026. 2022 resulted in 12 additional rock opera songs. Some 2023 songs might be a mini-rock opera. 2024 was a bit of a bust, with only six new songs. 2025 produced 14 songs that did not follow any specific theme. 2026 I told the story of David and Goliath.
