I know. It's February 28 and I just want to get something done. So for the last 4 hours or so I recorded some parts on loop cassettes (I have a 5-second loop and a 10-second loop). We actually have TWO 4-track cassette decks here, because one was broken for a while then got repaired.
My original plan was to play two cassettes against each other kinda live.
But it's actually easier, with a DAW, to record the two cassettes into the computer then do the arrangement.
So there's synths. And drums. And backwards cowbell. And backwards cabasa (because with cassettes all you have to do is flip the cassette, and things are backwards.) (And you can do a mix of forwards and backwards tracks.) And forwards synths. And fake strings. I adjusted the pitch control for the "Chorus". There are advantages to analog technology.
I had fun, I hope somebody actually listens.
What if there's something I forgot?
