Holy crap. I finished this whole freaking musical with hours to spare. I took a bit more time making this song because it's the big ending, the big finale. Everyone knows finales are supposed to be huge and I promise you that it will not disappoint. I brought back Eona's theme, plus some electronic sounds from other songs. I also did my supercool opera voice in the beginning and had so much fun with those high notes. I thought they would add a kind of sadness. And I cry-sang. Yes, real tears were shed.
I brought back the Tuvan throat singing because, yeah, I know you love it. Also, it's the auditory representation of the blood interacting with the "chemical" (hemetheonol). If you listen to "The Prophecy", "Flushed", "Symbiosis", you'll hear snippets throughout to represent the blood making contact.
I'm pretty tired now and definitely crazy. But I think this ends beautifully. I hope you have enjoyed this month-long journey with me. When I started making this, I didn't really have a lot of details worked out, so they sort of happened automatically.
And the so the story ends.
After "War", we know that Eona is badly injured and collapsed after facing off with Shando and eventually killing him. We find her a few hours later, waking from her unconsciousness, devastated by the world around her. She is in bad shape.
Cut back to the U.S.S. Fabulous, with newly-promoted Captain Cruz at the helm, which is in orbit around the planet. Things begin to look dangerous. Something is happening with the red star, the visual representation of the Death God, and the planet itself.
And the Prophecy is fulfilled.
Why is it so quiet?
Why isn't anyone moving?
There's so much blood everywhere.
It's my fault.
I didn't mean for this to happen.
Please, is anybody there?
Please help me.
(on the U.S.S. Fabulous)
TORPSULAI: Captain, we have to go back and get Eona!
CRUZ: I want to, but we can't. Look outside! Look at the planet! It seems to be drawing energy from the red star. It looks like it's going to explode. We need to get out of here! This is dangerous for all of us!
TORPSULAI: I know. I hope she's okay.
CRUZ: Me, too, Torpsulai. Me, too.
TORPSULAI: Look! The planet's turning red! What do you think is going to happen?
CRUZ: I don't know. We gotta leave.
EONA: Is this what dying feels like? There are so many things I wish I could have said.
I serve the Death God
He will embrace me in his red arms and his light will save my soul......
VOICES OF THE RED GOD: Eona! Eona!
Eona: I AM THE DEATH GOD!!!!!
