I start to breath, slowly underwater
Lungs filling up with muddy wonder
Not at all like giving up
I'm just soaking in the minerals
Like listening for distant footsteps
Ear to the ground
there’s a network of roots reaching out underground
We’re not logic, there’s a start
there’s a network of roots reaching out through the dark
We’re emotion, that’s a start
What looks solid shifts and I sink
I touch the edge of this world
Can’t see the path ahead I but don’t think I mind
like a dream I can’t wind back time
Raindrops gather at the the nape of my neck
ripples finally reach the edge
You meant so well when you looked at me and said,
How could one child get so wet?
there’s a network of minds reaching out through the dark
We’re not logic, that’s a start
there’s a network of minds reaching out through the dark
we’re emotion, that’s a start

Love those guitars, great job! I love the part "Can’t see the path ahead I but don’t think I mind". This is great, I can easily imagine this song playing in a movie.

I love the interplay of the the guitar and voices. The mood of the music Carrie's the lyrics up. So excellent
