Last song from me this FAWM, and that's final. And it's a pretty weird one - written entirely on keyboard, which is rare for me.
The arrangement's a bit messy - I've only spent a couple hours on it, most of that on the guitar solo - so yeah. It'll have some kind of structure when I get around to recording it properly.
I actually spent more time trying to get the solo right than anything else... It's way too Gilmour for my abilities!
If the lyrics seem weird, it's because this track is meant to be part of a concept triple album. It'll come in part three, so near the end. That, and they're a bit placeholder for now. And the vocal was very rough, no care taken to get the tone right etc, so don't judge.
infiltrate the headquarters and we might have a shot
liberate the mainframe like it's the gordian knot
and we may live to love again
ananova's everywhere but she's not in the way
problem is humanity can never find a way
to bury deep inside, our heads
robots aren't the stupid things we made to be our slaves
why did we give them the right to take our names and breed
we gave them all they ever need
