Liner Notes

People get the (erronous) idea that I am clinically negative. I'm not, Here's a song to prove it. Except the last line. Which was the hardest line to write this Fawm, not cos its clever, it;s just not me. A good way to say my goodbyes?

Lyrics

Don’t know how it happened - it did nonetheless
Glint in your eye as we’re saying goodbye
Handshake - our fingers caress.

glad that it happened it happens much less
Now that we’re older, and damn that cold shoulder
Colder with each passing

Don’t know how it happened - I could not care less
I’m not complaining, it don’t need explaining
Gift horses and all that.

Under duress I'll admit I'm impressed
Don’t know why it happened but
Happen it just did
I can attest to the fluttering chest
Left feeling like a kid

Baby I’ve still got it, but what is it I ‘ve got?

The gasping thrilling
when two folks connect
Pleasant surprise
not what I expect
It’s either love or chlymedia

A sweet song, if you ignore the last line 😀. Nice phrasing on the vocals and good guitarage sir!
