Goofy song about the exploits of a roving pack of murderhobos in a tabletop roleplaying game. Trying to pump out one more demo today so I didn't spend much (any) time mixing this one beyond just making sure you can hear everything.
We started off in an inn
Four shady corners, nestled in like Strider
In the goddamn Prancing Pony
And so our story begins
With a dungeon crawl that leads to some giant spider
Web sacks with bodies gear and gold.
Ride triumphant into town in the twilight.
Steal everything we can and start a bar fight
And when the goblins attacked the town
We hunted their leader down
And then we did some unspeakable things to the body
On the road when we met some strange knight
We shot right at first sight
And we did more unspeakable things to the body.
I took his enchanted sword and named it Bill
It’s conscious and told me it’s named Erador, but I’ll still call it Bill.
And we’ll take no names unless we thing they’re inherently funny
And we’ll take no prisoners because we’ll never remember to take any prisoners
And our allegiances can change so much faster than the breeze
All hail the Murderhobo’s journey.
Noble and peasant alike quake with fear
Their reckoning draws near
But we’re too busy trying to sleep with everything
And the dragon breathes hell upon the land
Casts castles into sand
But we didn’t care until it hurt our pet bear
And all the bodies we’ve left behind are weightless
Plot hooks and backstories float to the sky
And it looks like the plan that we’re going with
All hinges on seducing a dragon on the fly
And we’ll take no names unless we think they’re inherently funny
And we’ll take no prisoners because we never remember to take any prisoners
And somewhere god is wringing hands just praying to be free
All praise and hail the Murderhobo’s journey.
