rock post-rock instrumental fuzz
I forgot about this one - I think I had shelved it to potentially add drums to, but never got around to it.
I loved all the parts - great playing. With drums and vocals (or any kind of lead voice) missing it leaves me a little unsatisfied though. Could be an early The Verve or Smashing Pumpkins song, so exactly my type of thing.
I have to say, I LOVE this! No drums suits me just fine, and the toggle between the parts is so satisfying!
Oh, so many great sounds to listen to here! Love the fuzz, but also the contrast with the um, ringing guitar (?). I'm not a guitar person - don't know all the words. But I know that I like how you play them 😀
This is super mellow and gritty at the same time. Love the sounds you're using. I agree that drums would sound great, but it's also a killer tune all by itself.
Waiting, waiting, waiting and oooooo, there it is! 😃
That's a wonderful fuzz tone.... What are you using to get it?
I also agree with the "omfg this would be Huge with drums on it" thing, though it comes across here very nicely without them, I reckon
It stands alone as a lovely interplay between bass and guitars - but it's SCREAMING out for drums! 😁
This sounds like if grunge hadda been around in the 70s. Which is kinda redundant cuz that's pretty much what grunge is anyway. Ouch that hurt my brain. Anyway I love when melody is combined with distortion and aggression like you do masterfully here. I think your drumming on your other songs sounded pretty good. Personally, I think if you spent some time before next fawm experimenting with mic placement and such, you could easily pull off doing drums yourself. I found The Drum Tuning Bible to be invaluable when I was doing that: http://www.menet.umn.edu/~kgeisler/Tu....
Melodic bass, has that McCartney complexity. Sweet song--then here comes the fuzz attack.
Oh goodness do the drums! This one is begging for some drums! The mingling of the bass and guitar is too cool and the bass line is too cool! That fuzz is so thick and meaty. Great contrast. Well done!
