guitars beat box
I've been listening lately to Beck's Odelay and Beastie Boys' Hello Nasty.
The song title kind of reflects the mood I'm in right now. It allowed me to do just this.
I don't know what song is I stole the riff from. Who knows?
I came to this one EVEN THOUGH it seems to be a direct attack on me, lol, but I am willing to forgive that, since it is an extremely cool and unique piece of musical art. Pretty sure there are some drums from a vocal source? So much going on here and I like it - especially the transition into the middle eastern theme (with those breathy drums). It's all over and that is what I like the most about it. 😀
p.s. - RIGHT... now I see beatbox in the tags, lol - Very cool
This is so unusual and excellent, not what I expected from one of your songs but I was pleasantly surprised by it! That riff in whatever scale that is is super catchy. Very nice.
That is definitely not uncool. Infectious beats, super nice oriental scales and tasty guitar action on top. Very nice.
Quite different from anything else I've heard in a while! That riff is great, I have an "Arabian Etude" from my piano teacher that I've been struggling with this last week and this sounds like somebody giving that piece a good kicking which I am very much in favour of!
I really like how u use that riff! really cool how you compose!
OMG this is totally not the Ferry I was expecting! 😁 Crazy cool... a bit fast for Beck to rap over but the Beasties could handle it root down. It has the whimsy and playfulness of both artists, that's for sure, with the beatboxing mixed with guitars sounding like sitars, and funky bass and drums in the beginning. If the Beastie Boys had been in Haight-Ashbury in the psychedelic 60's they might have teamed up with Status Quo to make a song like this!
Hey, this is helping me do a better workout! So many cool elements...never knowing what to expect. Catchy and inspired. Enjoyed it!
this had me chair dancing, and one bit had me looking under the table to see what the dog was up to but it was some distinctly placed in the mix bit. great sounds!
I really, really like it, love that beat, a really well done production and very interesting, I felt very caught up in it.
Really weird and interesting ... as if a Middle Eastern musician was miniaturized and asked to play on top of a coffee table. Beatbox sounds strange but great. Nice bass, as always! The thick guitar lead at the two-minute mark absolutely rules ... overall, a huge wall of sound!
East meets West. It's an epic battle. 😀 I like it. You'd think that turkish/ arabian folk, beat boxing and britpop ( and lots more ) don't have much in common but you manage to make a whole out of them that sounds natural and has a great flow. I'm just so jealous of you and your skills. But still can't help to like this. 😀
Ha...that really surprised me. I nearly spit out my coffee when this thing jumped out of at me. This is totally infectious. That riff is pretty hypnotic, and I love everything you've built around. Nice change of pace in the middle. Wow, this is fun!!
Oh I love this! Sort of a middle eastern vibe and yet different. Great!
This is really interesting, in the stops and starts, and the development as new instruments and riffs are added. I'm really liking it!
And, I'm against all of that uncool, unfair stuff too!! Nice job!!
