The delay on the chorus was probably unnecessary...
Not many are brave enough to put their voice out there with just a bass behind it -- Worked beautifully together! Also glad I posted mine before listening to other versions like this!
Great instrumentation. That bass sounds good. As does your voice.
PS: I swear I didn't listen to your version (or any other) before I did mine
Great interpretation of the song. Everything works together so nicely. Really contemplative.
Unnecessary? Debateable...but the delay really compliments your voice here, as the song has an airy, dreamy quality about it. And l'm a sucker for both a great bassline and some nice Rhodes chords. Great job, you two!
A very nice, unique take on the Challenge. I want to be in the audience and hold a lighter up.
your voice is very wonderful, and your interpretation is very different from the others but very very nice! This is dreamy and sweet.
The vocal is dreamy. Your performance gives a very melancholy feel. Really pretty!
Reminds me of Dido. Had to visit @metalfoot to see the lyrics. I love the echo in vocals. Very beautiful.
Love the slow ballad approach. And the boomy reverb and chorus on the vocals are so very effective. The melodic bass line is very effective.
awesomely laid back. dig the vocal effect. there should be way more bass and vox songs out there in the world.
Wow! I love the whole vibe - your vocals are so awesome! Haunting sound serves the lyrics well. Nice guitar, too!
That was great! Thanks for playing along; definitely unique in its own feel and tune while still sounding a bit like the others. I've had SO MUCH FUN listening to the results of this challenge.
