I'm working on a bit of a grand tarot project.
The first step was to improvise a song for every card in the Tarot. I've completed that, though the process requires transcribing the songs, which is why you won't be seeing all of that work here.
You'll see some of that first stage work, as it will make it easy to pad out my song count, but this one is at a later stage in the process. This particular stage involves turning each of the improvised songs in to poems of fixed length and meter.
The Fool dances with disaster.
Maybe even ready to slip.
Perhaps protected or guided,
never knowing the depth of it.
Close to the edge, like quite the fool,
but knowing when to turn or stop.
You could step into the unknown,
never afraid of a big flop.
