After I first wrote this, the music matched the title a little too well. Slow and acoustic and dull. So I left it a couple of days and came back to it. Kept the lyrics, put the acoustic guitar away, made distorted noises, some beepy noises, and here's this.
We solve poverty with sanctions
We solve homelessness with spikes
The children have to march because
The adults only fight
We don't hope for better
We hope that things don't get much worse
Our leaders claim to fight for us
But they're putting themselves first
We live in a boring dystopia
We live not to die
We live in a boring dystopia
We live wondering why
We declare emergency
So we can build a wall
Denying that our climate change
Was urgent all along
We're poorer than our parents
For the first time in a while
But if you think it's hard for you
It will be much worse for your child
We live in a boring dystopia
We live not to die
We live in a boring dystopia
We live wondering why

Hah, those synths are really weird but fitting at the same time! One thing I'd consider would be either making this a tad shorter or putting a more quiet breakdown-y bit in there somewhere, so it wouldn't be all blasting. However, I dig the crushing groove you have going, and there are some interesting hooks here! I also like the promptness of the ending.

I like how the electric guitar almost becomes a drone after a while. Synths jump out and create some real ugly textures... in the best way! Love me some noisy political rock.
