soundtrack battle-music fauxchestral instrumental
Inspired by a thread on the forums asking for battle song for a video game, I thought I'd have a go at making one. It's a classic genre that I haven't tried in a veeery long time.
Cool battle piece. Everything mixes really well together.
This is first chance I had to listen to this. It's very cool! Here's what Zintho had to say, "@Gregg The bespoke piece is fantastic! I love it! I will try it out in the game and see how it fits. Someone made comment of it having an Aladdin-esque feel(of which I agree), and potentially this element may clash with our current environment. Is there a chance of minor alterations to be made to it if this is the case? Our game world is set in a small town on the edge of a forest , Made up of trees similar to Pine trees."
Brilliantly done, this totally takes me back to playing Playstation 2 RPGs as a kid. No idea what's going on compositionally, but there are some wonderful chord changes going on. This sounds a bit "eastern" for want of a better word, if inspired by Kingdom Hearts then it feels like it would fit particularly well in the Aladdin world. Very impressive
Oh wow! I second @musicsongwriter 100%
This is perfect for the task at hand, in my opinion!
Making music for specific scenes in game (and film, too) takes a specific kind of mind and talent; found out the hard way. Expert use of sounds, great mixing, great arrangement...just an awesome piece all around.
Wow, this is so amazing! I wish I was an animator and a film maker, I'd definitely want to use your music. It's so visual and so brilliantly done. You are very talented.
