"I'd like to issue you a challenge if you're up for it (and no worries if you're not, it's just for a bit of fun). I want you to create an acid line or two in your next track using Braids as a source, filtered through the A124 Wasp filter, and bonus points for using Chronoblob as special sauce, and for QPG & PEG modulations. :slightly_smiling_face: I don't know if you have anything suitable to sequence it 303 style though."
So this is that. It's nowhere near the production value you'd get in a @psyt track, and it's entirely too long, but it's been sitting in my DAW, cluttering my brain, so in the spirit of FAWM, out it goes 'as is', after passing the 'sounds decent enough on the iPad' mix-test. DIdn't give it a 'how's it song in the truck' test yet, but so be it.
Main sequence: Clock from Reaper -> Korg SQ-1 (manually manipulating slide and gate settings) -> MI Braids (META mode) -> RYO OptoDist -> A-124 Wasp -> LP left, BP right.
More details possibly forthcoming.
Performed/jammed 'live.' Added 'verbs/Valhalla and slight delay, automated levels, compression, panning, etc. in Reaper.
