On the whole, I'm cheerful and it takes a LOT to spoil that. But, as a cancer survivor, there are times when the damage that the chemo did rears its head and makes me a little sad. My guitar playing will never be the same as it was pre-treatment, and this little improv on the 12 ringer hammered that home to me this afternoon. I realised I could only play a fraction of what I could hear in my head. Hence the title. Recorded in the living room through my Dragondreams bass amp and pedal board using a Studer Revox M3500 dynamic mic that's around thirty years old.
