This is my experimental piece this go round. Set in the 1950's a crowd gathers to view giant robots from the future. They are called Chromatons

You capture the 1950's sound very well and I could see a crowd from that time running in panic from invading robots to this music.

The rising chromatic figure then repeated falling gives this a kind of switchback with the fully instrumented sections a feel of floats/marches going past. There's an edge from the dissonances that makes me feel I'd rather not be in the crowd watching...intriguing!
