Liner Notes

recorded this rly fast and gave up on trying to mix it Lol

Lyrics

with every yellow light
You end up slamming on the breaks
You always make the choice
A little too late

and I know its hard
to know exactly what to make
Of this and that and us
And every little space

You don’t have to stay
You don’t have to stay

Wow. Your lyrics convey a lot of perception and awareness.

I'm actually glad that this is a short song and that you didn't say more. You may choose to add to it later, but then it will be a DIFFERENT song. There's nothing wrong with that, but sometimes, less is more. Knowing when to stop is an art in itself.

There's a lot I'm reading into what you said, my mind filling details, imagining conversations and feelings. I love it when lyrics or poems do this, that is, when they become sentient and begin to live a life of their own apart from the composer/author.

Love what I hear. Very unique performance.

I love your phrasing, particularly in the second stanza. I'd enjoy seeing it expanded a little, maybe just with another verse/chorus, but I could also see this little thing wedged in the middle of an album or something and jarring in its shortness. Either way, love what you're doing!
