Skirmish with the prompt "Liar"
Well, this turned out more pleasing than I expected. My singing is in pitch (mostly) and has a little rough edge. The story is interesting, and I didn't use the prompt in a rhyme at all.
Baby I've been dreaming, Seems I'm always dreaming
So tell me sometimes dreams come true
I spend every minute thinking I can win it, win the love I crave from you
You can be my little liar, baby
Just say a little "I love you"
Tell me you'll be mine forever
Though nothing's farther from the truth
Be my love or be my liar
Baby, we can fake it, pretend that we can make it
Don't wake me from my fantasy
It's so unappealing the way you're really feeling
I'd rather you just lied to me
Don't walk away and leave me just cause you can't believe me
When I profess my fealty
I sometimes play it loose when it comes to what's the truth
But we make our own reality
