Feb 10 electronica fawmtronica dance disco
Dance pop cheese yeah! Ignore the clicking on the vocals. The refrain during the outro feels familiar... but, pah! It's FAWM.
You are
The only weapon I need
The only thing I believe
Will get me through this need
Open your arms
Give me that hope again
Open your arms
Give me that hope
When my heart
Is under attack
Your love is
The pressure that pushes back
When my heart
Is under attack
Your love is pressure
We will
Overcome this regime
That's been been holding me
Against my will
Open your hand
Give me that hope again
Open your hand
Give me that hope
When my heart
Is under attack
Your love is
The pressure that pushes back
When my heart
Is under attack
Your love is pressure
Your love is
Your love is
In my heart
In my heart
In my heart
Your love is pressure
In my heart
In my heart
In my heart
Your love is pressure
In my heart
In my heart
In my heart
Your love is pressure
In my heart
In my heart
In my heart
Your love is pressure
In my heart

Cool track! I like how it's sparse with lots of space for the vocals and I like the disco feel.
@thelowestbitter Feb 20
That synth bass is great, and I love that big echoing plucky synth in the right channel. Love that chorus! After the comparatively stripped back verses it sounds really punchy with the beat and extra synths. The break is really good too, and the extended final chorus works well. Great!
@frenchcricket Feb 16
Nice! The intro is great - could've been longer but I guess I'll wait for the 10"
@shortdan Feb 14
Got a pretty cool retro vibe to it has this. The break is really effective to build up a bit of tension before the extended outro. Some cool sounds throughout but the mix never gets crowded. Good stuff!
@rpasquier Feb 12
Another great track. You combine the aural landscape of modern electronica with a song harkening back to the 1980s origins of synth-based pop and dance-pop. Great combo.
@hornesgiftshop Feb 11
This is good. Great backing and vocal. Hope you get time to do a production number on the vocal chorus some day.
@atitlan Feb 11
I like the slow build with drums not coming in until late. Lots of nice synth sounds skittering around the edges of the main elements driving the song.
@sbs2018 Feb 11
Loved how the vocals complemented the electronica. Cool sound!
@the3queens Feb 11
Very Bowie-esque vocals. I like sparse use of instrumentation in the arrangement.
@seemanski Feb 11
This was a joy to listen too. Loved the chorus, the 80s style vocals really work well. All the sounds are beautiful and dance around my headphones. Cracking stuff.
@spiderhound1 Feb 11
I love your lyrics and vocals...really nice! I like how you allow the song to evolve. Nice work! 😀
@julesbf Feb 10
great production, loads going to keep attention and the panning is wicked. Really great idea and nicely executed.
@amelea Feb 10
"Your love is pressure" is a cool idea. I like that interesting outlook. I like how you sung the vocals, too.
@guatecoop Feb 10
Oh disco!?! I love that and have to listen. Such deep and precise sounds with a great melody and beat. I really love this stuff and wish that I could do it. You have really made a memorable song. Well done!
@adforperu Feb 10
Great how you slowly real more instrumentation on this - such a slow-burn. A really assured vocal on this too, the jumps in melody are really cool.
@dewcatcher Feb 10
I agree with @stevenwesleyguiles about that intro! The panning on the intro gives the electronic beats a surprising amount of depths and emotion. The reverb on your vocals are also killer. Even though it's dance pop, the effect makes me thinking of dreaming and the subconscious. That aspects specifically reminds me of The Arctic Monkeys. Well done!
@stevenwesleyguiles Feb 10
Oh wow! This has LOADS of potential! Seriously. Love the feel in the intro the most. So cool and chill. And that melody. I think you could develop THAT idea a ton.
I don't love the chorus as much as the verse (though the music itself is super fun and poppy). It almost feels like a second song.
The feel you have for the first verse is my favorite. 😀
Way to FAWM it! 😀
