instrumental piano piano-solo mood-music
Not a favourite. A lyric piece for which the lyric fell apart. In my publicly avowed intent to put up EVERYTHING written in FAWM, not just what I like, here it is.
Very beautiful piece. Its emotional and fearless. Great job done here
this is a stunning piece
just had me staring out of the
beautiful work well written
I saw the tag 'piano solo' and glad I listened...this is beautiful.
Agree with the comments here about the emotion; its what makes this piece in my opinion.
I was browsing some other sites and ended up just stopping to sit back and listen.
Agree with others, there is tones of emotion in your playing that makes this stand up very well as an instrumental. Reminded me of a film or tv score.
Well, you may not like this one so much, but I love it. Some music doesn't need lyrics. It speaks for itself, as does this piece. You play it so lovingly too. It's beautiful. Great title for a piece expressing so much longing. Love it. Had to listen twice.
This stands very well on it's own. Beautiful melancholy piano piece!
Wow! That's beautiful!
If you can find the love for it, definitely come back to this one. It's a *very* strong instrumental and will certainly wear a new set of lyrics well once you've forgotten the ones that didn't fit. The playing is lovely too.
I agree with @scottlake . This would work very well as film music. Beautiful!
I quite enjoy hearing you play. Your song structures are a bit non-obvious to me, which I like. And that piano has a great sound too!
I’m imagining this as film music. There is a light rain, a man who just lost his job, and maybe wondering how he’s going to break the news to his wife.
I can hear the space for a melodic instrument and it's beautiful. I hope maybe you will consider coming back to this and either finding a lyric or just adding a melodic instrument. very pretty song.
Tim, I love it! I am a little tired at the moment, and this made me feel as if I were resting on a very comfortable sofa, with you sitting on the piano, playing, a nice cuppa waiting on the table for both of us, and pleasant spring air filling the room through the wide open windows. I am so happy you didn't discard this beautiful piece of music!
i have never met an ace pianist who was satisfied with their own compositions. i imagine it might be due in part to the overwhelming volume of piano music that preceded you. even debussey fell short of chopin. but his is a fine piece of music, and plenty of us will enjoy it.
The is beautiful Tim.
This is a wonderful piece of music, there are a couple of really catchy bits... like the bit around the 52 second mark..... I like it, sorry the lyrics fell apart... its still a nice piece of music.
