This has a great feel to it. The mix of fuzzed guitars and your clean floating guitars works well. The percussion helps break it up nicely.
Somehow this reminds me of Devin Townsend. It has the same kind of sense of melody and a certain playfulness. After a rough day at work it feels really relaxing to just listen to this and watch out of the train's window.
This has a lovely tribal feel to it; ceremonial, even. The groove is upbeat and trippy, there's tension in that glorious buzzing bass and release in the final wind-down. It certainly evokes the "Children of the Sun" in the title. I love it!
Bubbling riff! grooves along and wholly enjoyable. Good use of those pregnant pauses and slowdowns(eg 1:43, 3:05) Nice change around 2:20. But the ear waits for the bubbly riff to reappear...will it? will it? Yes it does but in a different key! Lovely. Applause!
