acid electronic downtempo synth
You climb and you climb and you climb, but some peaks are just not within your reach. Some hills call for an epitaph instead of a flag.

This is great. Lots of evocative sounds - I particularly like how that distant synth sounds like a far-off horn, and the evolution of the lead synth. Good liner notes, but I can't help wondering if you'd have made it higher up the peak if you'd packed a nice warm jumper.
Don't know tons about this genre, so I can't say much about specifics. I do know that shimmery wind chime-y thing is cool. It sounds like snow. And snow makes me happy, therefore this song makes me happy.
I'm a simple girl.
What a great groove. You know, it’s funny you mentioned Bladrunner on my track because this has that vibe all over it. Which is to say, I dig it. You have always had a knack for fantastic acid riffs and this is no different. Great filter work. Love this.
Oh, that's a nice theme.
The track doesn't sound brooding at first : there's confidence, and the feel of ascending something is definitely there. Then doubts step in. Suddenly we're doomed.
Cool drum sounds and a very nice groove. Very tasteful selection of sounds overall. You built up this track very skilfully and created a captivating atmosphere. It just flows and completely draws you in. Nice job!
Awesome drums! They remind me of DJ Shadow's approach to sampled drums - lovely edits and effect touches - tight! Love the shift to the ethereal - big skies for sure. Also, there's what I thought was my phone ringing right at the end in the fade out. I had to stop the music to find my phone. That was the perfect way to end a song!
I really dig the way the track builds up and evolves right from the start. And the contrast between the super reverby/washed out sounds and the dead-dry stuff create a nice 3D atmosphere. I'm not sure if you've ever listened to The Orb, but if not, I think you might like it!
Really love the ambiance of this. Great balance of lush but not muddy. Bass that anchors everything, climbing melodies, accents big and bold where accent is needed, and then just that hint of acid burbling/burning away . . .
Could listen to this loop behind a tricky level on a video game I'd have to play over and over, and yet never get annoyed with the soundtrack.
I don't know all the terminology for how to describe electronic music but this is evocative, builds up nicely, and is really well produced. I enjoyed my listen!
Wow, this is awesome. Definitely getting some Boards of Canada vibes from this. Very catchy, I feel like I could listen to this for an hour.
Intense and brilliant piece of art. Love the production and the vibe. A big cheer for you!
This is great Melody! .. loved the panning affects , and the pad work on this... the finish was very satisfying... thx for sharing!
great work!! really engrossing and enveloping sonic landscape there, and i love the build and decay of the whole thing (are those the right words for that?) great stuff, and welcome back to fawm!
Another subtle, but good use of building tension. With a good sound to the arrangement and mix. From the title, I feel that tension as a climb into more and more dangerous territory.
That was a fun tune! I was expecting to find at least one frozen corpse stuck to the mountain, but that was just a nice tune! 😀
