I started playing around with this one last night and finished it up earlier today. Finally rendered it down tonight. This one was an attempt to use a VSTi that I had never used before, HG Fortune's The Tiger. I scrolled through the presets until I found the one that created the meat of this track and just started entering chordal figures into Buzz's Patterns & Sequencer. Then I dropped in FireSledge's Rectal Anarchy Buzz Machine and used a Peer LFO to vary the vowel sounds created by this lovely experimental synth. The notes for the synth are created by the Peer-Note-Pool Machine whose probability matrix is randomized thanks to the velocity of the sounds created by The Tiger. But the coup-de-grace (IMHO) of this one is the erratic drums which are triggered by a Peer Envelope machine that draws its input from the sounds of The Tiger as well. A couple of delays and some interesting buzz machine tricks give these drums a haphazard and mind bending synchopation.
In other words, I had a great deal of fun playing around with the Buzz Machines on this one. I hope you enjoy my madness.
See You In The Shadows…
p.s. The name was inspired by the VSTi Preset I used.
