rock heavy cello
That is very cool to listen to. The cello is my favorite instrument although I don't play it. But I love it when it gets used (like Cursive do).
What an awesome combination of sounds and rhythms! Are you playing all of these instruments? The production is top notch. Very well done.
This texture is terrific. It reminds me of the folk-rock type bands like Steeleye Span and Boiled In Lead. The melody really holds its own - always sounds like it's going somewhere. I would have liked a guitar-cello duet at the close rather than guitar in, cello out at the ending.
Great title and musical execution. Cello sounds marvelous against the bass and drums! Love the bits of electric guitar as well.
Who knew cello was a rock band instrument after all? Kept my interest throughout with some sweet surprises. Nice work!
This is so cool! Dynamic and interesting too!
Wonderful melody! Again mixing styles, I love contrasts in music!
The title drew me in and I’m not disappointed. Such a great dynamic contrast between the loping melody and kick arse accompaniment.
Showed up for the title, stayed for the cello. Awesome job!
Who can resist a title like this? The cello and rock guitar dance well with one another, switching off who leads.
Love the cello! Totally lovely melody, nice beat and delicious harmonies!
A cello played like a fiddle! Then also some classic metal. Then that guitar lead. So many delicious hooks here but the title is the first of all of those. The contrast between all these voices is really compelling. Great listen!
Digging the whole cello and guitar sound, makes for an interesting rock song.
Very cool, well done, lots of interesting twists here.
Had to listen to this just on the basis of the song name 😉 It gave me a happy memory if listening to Gary Numan's 'The Joy Circuit'. Now I need to find some buddies to play strings for me on a track! Thanks! 😁
Cool concept for a track. Guitars sound great. The cello was a nice touch. It's a nice mix of instruments.
Nice combo of instruments. Got some orginality here for sure. Do like what I hear.
Who can resist this title? Beautiful cello. Feels a little disjointed at first but then everything starts to gel at about 1:20. Cool how the electric takes over and they do the back and forth. Unique combo. I really like that cello part at about 2 minutes.
Wow, this mixes different worlds - at their best, into a new one. Very exciting!
This manages to be both pretty and rocking at the same time. The whole thing has a great flow. Very cool.
I like it! The combination of “modern” instruments and the cello is great! And the title, of course 😉
Well cello is irresistible to me so I was drawn into this amazing piece instantly. I like how the cello is smooth and calm but the drums, guitars and bass are driving it. Wonderful!
Nice cello melody and that change in the middle of the song was an awesome transition. Nice work!
Really unexpected - and so, perfect! Love mixing up traditional genre preconceptions to make folks sit up and listen. Brilliantly mastered too. Nice one!
Nice composition, love that cello, fits snugly with the guitar! Thanks for sharing!
Nice guitar sounds and the cello goes well with it.
That was really great, the cello starts it off as nice melodic mellow piece and the rock gives that extra bit of punch to send it over the edge. Enjoyed the listen.
Lovely cello part, makes a cool centerpiece for this. I kind of agree with @hornesgiftshop, I think it’s the trills here and there that give it the flavor of an old fiddle tune. Ah, then the guitar solo! Nice back and forth between the two. I would have loved to hear the guitar and cello harmonizing a line maybe at the end?
Very nice, the cello especially. Sounds like a Scottish tune.
Hey! Love your cello in a rock song! Are you playing all of the instruments? Looking forward to hearing more.
Cool mix of rock drums, bass, and guitar with cello. Very nice work!
Thank you! Will try!
Hey Will... Glad to see you're a FAWMer... Nice composition... I enjoyed listening... Knock out a bunch of them.
