My FAWM warm-up song. I did this on the new Maschine, which is a joy to work with. My kids named it for me. I was having trouble with the title and they are always good for an interesting title.
Thanks partially to you, my Maschine is a joy to work with as well! Nice early 80's thing going on here, maybe a la Gary Numan. Listening to a track produced with a piece of kit you own is like letting someone else play your records, you have no idea what you really have until someone pulls out a gem like this. Good stuff.
I like short songs and I like this. Nice, warm song. Your kids nailed the title!! And to anyone who complains that this song is too short, they can always just listen to it twice!!
I love how much the title gotta the sound. Awesome herky jerky beats and synths. I could see this easily leading into a song as an intro. Tons of interest and great sound mean a good start to your FAWM!
I do think the title is fitting. I like the detuned synthy sounds. The beats feel straightforward at first, but are actually a bit off-kilter, in a good way.
I've never used Maschine, seems interesting though ...
Nice. Did the kids know about this week's theme?
Lovely warmup tune. Solid song. 😀
Your kids named it well. I hear the electricity. Builds nicely. Great warm up song as you call it.
I like the circular feel all of the arpeggios have. Feels like it could do a lot more - could be longer!
It has a nice synth line and feels like an intro to an event.
I like the beat - it's interesting and different. The buildup at the start brings the listener into the song with aplomb. Then you get the melodic line that keeps the attention fixated. This is a fun song with a lot going on.
See You In The Shadows…
