Me and leviathan, my autoharp, with the mp3 recorder on my phone.
Posting them from my computer in a few hours.
Love your style - melodic speaking in the verses works so well. You sell the idea well too, wonder if I could convince my hubby to move out... Autoharp is very cool. I’ve seen so many but always scared me!
I know people who have made that choice. Not for me but I like the way you have told it in song.
I think this would make a fab country song - storytelling done well! It flowed along really nicely, and clever to contrast the spoken word quality in the verses with the singing in the chrouses - i very much enjoyed the “somewhere to go” part. It made for a great hook.
Cool song storytelling and an enjoyable listen
the talking style has such a lovely flow. i love the sweet story, had me hanging on every word and i am a fan of staying in. really nicely done and fantastic skirmishing!
This made me grin. Great tradish talkin' blues. Really good work. Thanks for coming out to play.
I love the attitude and whole feel of this! Perfect for this skirmish!
Sweet tune - love the delivery of the lyrics. "I'm happy here, don't need somewhere to go" - simple and effective. Great song!
nice n low fi. got a real nice flow to it! lyrics good. very good skirmish
Aww...this is really sweet! Really honest, believable lyrics and a catchy little tune.
This has a cool folk song sound with the autoharp and the relatable lyrics and great story telling. Nice contrast in the vocals in the verses and chorus! Made me smile! I can imagine it exactly!
