fawmtronica minimalist simple dark mobilecreated
First song, made from 3-6am, because apparently I'm nuts. 😝 Not sure if there's too much repetition, but I was getting used to a new DAW, so simple still took a long time...
But yes. Pretty happy with this. 😀
I really liked this track, the interplay between the bass and lead is addictive!
Dark and lovely and a bit menacing ... creates a great atmosphere! Like an indecisive vampire pacing back and forth around a candle-lit cave.
Oh shoot...I've been burning the midnight oil too. I've been working on tunes from like midnight - 5am or so....Crazy! Plenty of tension in this track that could be the score to a nightmare for sure. Which new DAW are you learning?
Cool lofi edge on the rhythmic synth. Very minimal yes, but the fx keep this going.
Well, this certainly leaps straight out of the speakers and grabs the listener by the ears. Wonderful choice of sounds. What I like most is that it's got real bounce and energy, yet relies on minimal instrumentation. That's a clever trick to pull off. 😀
This track builds a cool atmosphere. The title's actually really fitting. Dream-like stuff with a dark twist. Too bad you're not creating metal this year, but I'm really excited to hear what kind of bleak electronic music you pull out : )
The melody is catchy and the tail end fade out works well.
Minimalist yes, but with random elements of pure beauty and sacred weirdness. I like.
You ought to be happy. It's infectious. I'm happy too. Great bubbly listen. Enjoyed.
I also made a song from 3-6AM because I'm nuts too. LOL Good start to the season. I like the rhythm here. Just bouncy enough. I'll echo others and say a little added percussion with go a long way but I liked the minimalist nature to it. The little sweeps throughout were a nice touch. Nice work.
Catchy rhythm. I'm also getting used to new DAW - I know what you mean about something simple taking a long time.
I so wasn't expecting this! Kept waiting for the drums to kick in. A simple remedy for any sequence you feel is getting repetitive is to fool around with the bass track, see how far off the root you can go and what different kinds of structures you get doing so.
The driving synth in the background that goes “duh-duh-duh-duh-duh-duhdaduh” is super catchy and drives this track and keeps your foot tapping! Great job!
Explore that DAW and bring forth more awesomeness !!
The main riff of this actually reminds me of an old guitar riff I did but sped up a bit. I realize this is "minimalist" but I think some drums with a fast rolling snare beat would be pretty cool somewhere in the middle of this song.
