JESUS

Liner Notes
#christian I wrote this acrostic poem back in 2017. This past November a melody idea began to take shape. Today I #finished_it up and recorded it. The poem challenge inspired me to pull it out and work on it: https://fawm.org/forums/3612?highlight=Poem
I will likely adjust the spacing in the chorus as I get more familiar with singing it, but it’s FAWM finished for right now. 😊
Lyrics
JESUS
J ust as I am, you ask me to come to you, E ven with all that my past and sin put me through. "S it here and rest with me", you urge my soul, "U nlike the world's delights, I'll make you whole." S wapping my fear for faith, I am made new.
Thank you, dear Jesus, my Lord. I love you.

Thank you so much.😊
I love your voice. This flows really well. Very well done how you spell out His name without it being so obvious (unlike how a kids song might say, give me a J) this is a very beautiful love song. Great work. And good job finishing it.
Thank you so much!!!😊
Sweet track to choose for the finish it challenge! Sounds great! Really nice melody and lyrics! It's so cool that you wrote each line to spell out Jesus! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks!! I actually find it often breaks my writers block to try writing an acrostic poem (I actually also did it with my Souls is Tandem lyrics, too)
Simple & devotional. A lovely little song displaying your faith. Nicely done!
