This is the first one I've done in Portuguese for this FAWM. I started writing songs in Portuguese about 6 years ago, and they still feel like beginner songs to me. The fun thing about writing songs in a second language is that you get to write like a child again with limited vocabulary and limited knowledge of cultural cliches without all the baggage that comes attached to being a native to a language. #acousticonetake

não sei se eu ouvia enquanto a verdade era sabia mente de me guardar

(I don't know if I listened while the truth was wisely kept hidden from me)

com confiança de tolo num palco subsólo onde não vem a luar

(with a fool's confidence on a subterranean stage where moon doesn't shine)
