violin viola piano
couldn't get this one done in time but @emkaydeebee recorded some strings for me so I wanted to share them. thanks Mary! this would be the second half of the song.
I really liked listening to this, it sounds very film soundtrack to me, probably in the rain until aroind 1:19 where the mood shifts and the character suddenly realised they can do that thing they thought they couldn't... but is there enough time to do it now?
It sounds so full of life and is really epic in it's own way - really great, I'd love to hear the rest of the song if it ever gets finished!
This is a lovely collaboration -- great strings and lovely arrangement overall.
Really like this. It has a lovely sway to it and a sweet but quite melancholy melody. The piano work is really nice and the stringed instruments add wonderful texture and colour. I like the change up of movement in the second half. It almost becomes a bit Philip Glassy at that point. Excellent work!
This was beautiful, I love the tension in the song. There's a sadness in the strings, but there's also hope.
Aw, this sounds lovely, really nice. I can see from the picture this is about St Kilda in Melbourne, but you know something about the fiddles makes me think of the original St Kilda, do you know the story? Well worth looking up if you don't, a very sad and strange story about Scotland's most remote and now uninhabitable (by law) island.
Excellent...you can't beat the real thing!
Oh this sounds wonderful. Let me know if it's completed - I am around in March as always 😀
It's a swirling flow, rather like river flowing fast downstream and all the interesting things that use the river along the way...
Been trying to listen to more strings thanks for the share! Really like that build up at 1:45 and the melody that enters!
