entropic variations for solo piano
The end for 2021... made it sort of. Not done with tracking my collab for Nadine but it is coming nicely. This is close enough to 14 for me. I am very happy. What a great time.
I always really like your piano stuff - very impressive composition that goes so many interesting places. This is very expressive and playful with so many floating/jumping lines. It almost has a quality of cartoon soundtrack because the playing is so expressive. It paints a very cool sonic picture. I really enjoyed this one! Congrats on the win!
I wish I could play piano like you! So skilled and full of emotion! Hope you do more jazzy stuff in 2022. That totally caught my attention! In this piece I like how you went into chaos and restructured.
P.S. Don't put yourself under pressure hitting the 14. It's better better have a handful of great songs and getting to know other people. I reached the 15 somehow, but I count them as 10 songs, because not everything is good enough to be produced for real! I'm looking forward to our collab!
Absolutely beautiful piece of music, and amazingly well played. The calm, the chaos, and everything inbetween is gorgeous.
Sorry I haven't replied to your message yet. I'm really behind on replies, as I've been listening and commenting, but I'll get there. Thank you Chad!
Wow obviously you are a very skilled piano player! The composition reminds me of the style of Aram Khachaturian, whose pieces I love to play. This is really, really beautiful with such lovely movement and dissonance and resolve. I really enjoyed it! Great title also.
