But lyrics and song content belong to the fawmers who wrote them!
clarinet headphones weirdo spoken-word
Hey, folks, @Fuzzy here!!!
@Adnama17 sent me these words and asked if I could use them, and so I did!!
This is also @Adnama17 playing the clarinet!
She claims that this is an actual true story!! 😞
Mixed for headphones, as usual!
Yikes! The image in the lyric box scared the hell out of me!
Headphones on for Fuzzy, as usual.
What a delightfully bizarre and creepy collab. And to be "a little teary-eyed" - I think I'd be, too. Clarinet is just the right weirdo accompaniment.
Aww... what an interesting piece! I love the story telling. The lyrics start setting up for something not so good ... poor duck. Great vocal delivery. The clarinet is wonderful. The ending cracks me up.
Poor ducky 😥
But this is fabulously done, and (s)he must be up there in ducky heaven, going "corrrr, those lovely people have immortalised me in song! I loves them, I does!"
Fuzzy has done some of my favourite music this FAWM, and this collab is excellent. The clarinet is fabulous.
What a wild story! The clarinet goes so well with the story/spoken word.
the WTF is perfect, i like "lucky bible" and the "clarinet" ( 😉 )
great little shaggy duck story.
EDIT: I stand corrected putting clarinet in inverted commas! the playing is so consistent and clean and even that i thought it was a cheaty clarinet! lovely playing Amanda!
That’s a wild story!
If I can find a weirder song than this this MALM I'll be astounded.
It was great!
This is hilarious. 'Like he owned the place', made me laugh, like you were ready for a relaxing cup of coffee and a duck is suddenly asking for all attention. Inlove the idea of this being a telephone 'conversation'. That clarinet is fitting this so well too. Great collab!
That clarinet is the sound of the great British kids TV animations of the 1960s and 70s. Curiously I don't remember this one about the headless duck though. A delightfully strange and off the wall combination
I had fantasies where the head was going to turn up, but they remain unconfirmed.
This is like an episode from Louie. There's one about a headless hobo.
Anyway, what can I say... this is brilliant. It shook me. itt's interesting. That's more than I can say about most songs.
Love the phone call format and the absurd story and the very nice clarinet playing, which makes it all sound charmingly old fashioned. "Gently to rest in a paper bag" made me laugh!
I am here for the "weirdo" tag. And it's well-deserved here. The combination of Fuzzy's shaggy-dog-story and Amanda's clarinet playing is a treat that I didn't know that I needed. The framing of this as a phone call is a stroke of Lynchian-level genius.
Uh...yeahhhh, so perhaps this isn't the kind of audio art I should be indulging in at this time of the morning. And I'm not even blazed or tipsy. And uh, that duck pic...that duck pic. Y'all are giving me too much in the wee hours of the morning.
So good, the clarinet glues this all together, much enjoyed!
This totally defies description. I'm sitting here thinking "WTF did I just listen to here?!"
But I'm so glad that I did. This is hilarious, and so, so clever in conception and execution.
That clarinet is fabulous. And the spoken world is hillarious (as always). Reminds me of the Folk Singer epidemic @fuzzy had a few FAWMs ago. Brilliant collab!
See You In The Shadows…
Your comedic timing is always on point. Great story. The “what the fuck” and “drinking wine coolers” made me laugh.
The clarinet is lovely, what a pleasure to listen to. Excellent playing.
🤣 This is excellent! My guess is you have a knife wielding maniac goose on your hands! Do be careful.
