This song is about the crisis with houseless people in my city. May we all find compassion in our hearts for those sleeping under tarps tonight.
Mix is dirty, just writing at this point, I'll come back to polish things up.
Park the car down a side street
Trash bags full of stuff to keep
Idle siphons off the tank
Keep it running for the heat
Shopping carts rust in the trees
Broken bottles buzzing bees
Blue tarp screaming at the sky
Leaky holes and busted knees
By yourself but not alone
Claim a place to call your own
Running out of names to try
Move along now move along
Smoking cigs and skipping meals
Prescription bottles broken deals
Find a place to charge the phone
Rain runs through the window seals
Beggar choose your own adventure
We are not invisible anymore

This is wonderfully musically disconcerting - just like the situation, the way the guitar tracks the vocal is really nice and the counterpoint of the melody lines and the backbeat really gives the piece direction. Great treatment of a tough topic. Love the choose your own adventure line.

Love what the bass line is doing - It kept surprising me in a good way. The simple guitar works great too and the solo is sweet. This is catchy as hell man.
