This noisy manifesto is influenced by some of my favorite hard-edged alt-rock and post-punk artists of the early 1990s.
Can you be the fool
Could you take that role
Be the fool you wish would come save you
From this clever hole
Wise men have had their chance
And they screwed it up so bad
Help me find the fool
Who doesn’t have a clue
Someone who knows none of the answers
I think it might be you
Great leaders read the maps
And they led us straight to hell
All your messing around
School days you missed
Daydreaming in the clouds
Prepared you for this
You must be the fool
That the world demands
Someone who knows none of the answers
And does not pretend
Wise men threw up their hands
’Cause they screwed this up so bad

I think we can all relate some of these lyrics right now. The "great leaders" line especially! There's almost a manifest destiny fantasy hero vibe to it though, which I kinda like. Like the growly, phased fuzz on those guitars too!
