A collab based on the true story of a pretty sweet Sebring guitar that Eric and Jason found on a trip to a music store in St.Paul, MN.
Although Jason is doing the main vocals, Eric and the guitar are the main characters in the story.
[Eric says] - For those who might be wondering, here is the guitar in question! 😀
Let’s have some fun while we're hanging around
A music shop i know, a little ways downtown
End of the story we’d never’ve guessed
We were knights in flannel armor out on a quest
A great little store, walls filled with guitars
Like a clear dark sky bursting with stars
There were so many things to touch and to see
But one special axe was calling to me
This was Excalibur, the sword in the stone
This was Excalibur, such mystical tone
Do I really do this?
One jester in the corner thinks he's Eddie van Halen
For the last three hours he's been sitting there wailing
He’s never gonna buy that guitar in his hands
But he’ll keep on playing to his imaginary fans
Nobody's really listening ‘cept to see if he stops
They'll have to kick him out when they close up the shop
Walked out of the palace Left that king on its throne
Be such a rash choice To bring this one home
With my head in the chords And my mind on that sound
I tripped and fell Flat faced on the ground
Three years later still living regret
The spark reappears on the internet
The hope of the glory came flooding back fast
Is this the one? Could it be at last?
A wheel and a deal and a tracking number
The dream is alive, awake from its slumber
Finally at last, like donning a crown
I tune up my sceptre and crank it up loud
