1 week collab silly random-sample-challenge theme-tune-for-an-imaginary-zoo dinosaurs randomsamplechallenge
Chris: Juha asked me about doing a collab while we were hanging out on Slack and he suggested the theme tune to "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century" as a starting point (yes, really). Andy of @aeye gave us the title on the spot and it all became very silly from there on in. I had a lot of fun doing this.

Juha: Brilliant track by Chris that I fought very hard to ruin with silly nonesense! š (To be fair, he kinda demanded it!)

Love the Covid sorry Corvid Chorus. Not at all a petting zoo unless you're willing to lend a hand. Enjoyed this bit of fun!!

I love (and very much envy) how people can put that much communication into an instrumental track. Great fun!

Making my way through other #randomsamplechallenge tunes. I'm a big fan of the space cow at 0:55. Then at 2:17, the space bugs buzzing in the ears of the zoo animals causing the annoyed groans of the dinosaur that follow. Anywho, GREAT TITLE that made me imagine a whole world with the tune.

What fun! I had quite a movie unspooling in my head as I listened. Lots of good laser-y space adventure happening here.
I love it when the animals come it - the sheep have an amazing sense of rhythm. š

Very creative and an interesting listen. Itās got the whiff of a lost instrumental track from Asiaās Astra about it. Progtastic. Iād love to see the video!!

Nicely capture the feeling of an 80's sci fi adventure, sounds like it could be a cool intro theme song to cartoon of these characters.

Keith Emerson: "Well, boys, we really messed up with Love Beach. How can we recover?"
Greg Lake: "How about a space epic about alien ruminants?!?"
Carl Palmer: "Yeah, excellent!! We'll tell the whole 1000 word story in the liner notes of the double album!!""

Can't help but smile along to this. Love the animal noises. Imagining space sheep going into battle against the forces of whatever it is that space sheep go into battle against...probably other space sheep

Great concept and collaboration! This could also be labeled āUpstairs Neighbors from Hellā.... of course, then youād have to add in a track of yelling/screaming followed by loud orgasmic sounds.... great ideas and execution!

Weird and delightful! Chiptune on caffeione overdose. But those guitars, yeah, straight from 80s hair metal!
When the "animals" enter around 1:00, things get even weirder. And all those little shifts in the rhythmic structure! Wonderful to listen to!

Oh yes. The mix of knowingly stupid and pompous is a joy. I could listen to a lot of this.

Silly yet intense! Lots of fun stuff going on musically but I don't think I'd want to go to that zoo...
