In fear of a Nuclear future, in dread of our nuclear past
In this gruesome hour, all religion fades aways
Mankind seems left alone with the devices it creates
Aghast eyes abounding, wishing it was just a dream, don't get to weep, when horrors materialize
Cities soaring up in smoke, the nightmare is real
In light of our truest hearts can you tell fact from fiction?
The future is this grim light spread across the peach horizon, leaving our shadows' forms against the walls burned forever
In the darkest hour even the dawn is dimmed away
Madness is unleashed, we rest asured we are alone, ignorance makes us blind
Atoms split and engineer the rumble that brings the silence, the radiant century bears human kind's lowest point
The future is this grim light spread across the peach horizon, leaving our shadows' forms against the walls burned forever
Forever
Mothers, children, father what have we done, we should know by know, each wound we inflict is in ourselves!
The future is this grim light spread across the peach horizon, leaving our shadows' forms against the walls burned forever

I agree, off to a great start.
Woah, "in our darkest hour when even dawn is dimmed away" is such a great line. Wow. There's a few, standouts, like "Mankind seems left alone with the devices it creates."
Your voice sounds great here. Loving the guitars on this one. The pounding and drumroll rhythm is the perfect intense match.
I love where you've been going with these orchestrations. Very high intensity. The full send ending is exactly what it needed. Once again, having us imagine the stage visuals. BRAVO!

Was there a harpischord?! It's hard to hear because I have so much background noise in my room. Whatever it was, it was the PERFECT accent to the combination of your wonderful voice and the intense guitars. The lyrics are deliciously grim (although the subject matter is indeed tragic, but I guess the grimness pays tribute to the severity of it). My favorite line is, "In the darkest hour even the dawn is dimmed away."

This is intense & insistant. Those dirty guitars drive this along. And your vocals are just wonderful (as always). Oh, I really like that organ (I'm actually a sucker for organ tones, so I'm biased). The lyrics hit home (which should not surprise you, given our recent conversation). This line: "In light of our truest hearts can you tell fact from fiction?" really stood out to me. As did this one: "we should know by know, each wound we inflict is in ourselves!" Wow. Yeah, I quite enjoyed this - especially that flute lead & the ending. Excellent song!
See You In The Shadows…

Whoa, this hits you right from the start.
Intense.
So much energy here.
Great lyrics.
Love those unexpected flute solos.
Your vocals are always awesome.
I'm so glad you've found a way to add music to your voice.
Wonderful ending.
Really well done.
Excellent work.

Nuclear, indeed. Extremely powerful, the build-up is complex, the traditonal instruments add an extra emotional charge. Listening a second time to delve deeper into this amazing piece ; your vocals are majestic, the rhythmic changes compelling. Lyrics, madly dark, heartbreaking. I'm not surprised you're tired, coming up this piece must have required insane energy.
Oh and your outro is f***ing intense and scary. Sounds like hell.
